“ Gen-2” Meter Boxes, NZ

The Gen-2 range of Electra meter boxes are the latest development of our successful range of meter boxes. This product has been designed specifically to meet and exceed the demands of the new NZ Building Code ‘E2’ weatherproofing provisions.

All models are supplied with a unique  weather flange set which is quickly and simply fitted on-site with configuration options for all popular house cladding types.

The top face of the box is sloped away from the structure to ensure quick and positive runoff of water from the surface of the meterbox.

Installation is simple, the results are reliable.

Each Gen-2  meterboxes is supplied with the exclusive Electrabox weatherproofing kit at no additional charge. This kit includes flashings for the options as listed below plus fasteners and flashing tape. Detailed installation drawings are supplied for the typical construction styles.
